Secret Squirrel

Secret Squirrel debuted in 1965 as part of The Atom Ant/Secret Squirrel Show, created by Hanna-Barbera as a stylized, spy-fi parody of the burgeoning James Bond craze. The character, a trench-coated agent equipped with an array of gadgetry, captured the lighthearted, surreal humor characteristic of mid-century animation. His transition into the Pop! Pez line decades later serves as a nostalgic bridge, pairing the long-running interactive candy dispenser format with the modern vinyl aesthetic defined by Funko’s stylized proportions.

This specific figure, numbered 36 in the Pop! Pez series, features the iconic fedora and trench coat associated with the character's original design. By utilizing the classic Hanna-Barbera character model, the design prioritizes a recognizable silhouette meant to appeal to both long-time fans of the 1960s source material and contemporary collectors of pop culture ephemera. The piece is representative of Funko's strategy to revitalize legacy cartoon properties by blending utility-based collectibles with their signature mascot-style sculpting.
