Simba (Live Action) (Flocked) [MCM]

Released in 2019 to coincide with the photorealistic remake of Disney's The Lion King, this Funko Pop! figure depicts the infant Simba. As part of the broader Pop! Disney series, it was designed to capture the transition of classic animated characters into the high-detail, textured aesthetic of the live-action production. The flocked finish, a specialty technique that applies fine fibers to the vinyl surface, was specifically chosen to evoke the softness of a young lion cub's fur.

The figure, numbered 547 within the line, reflects the era's trend of utilizing tactile variations to distinguish special editions from standard vinyl releases. Like many items in the Disney collectibles market, its design leans heavily on the visual fidelity established by the film's CGI artists. It was received by the collecting community as a quintessential piece for fans of the remake, serving as both a memento of the film's theatrical release and a standard entry in the extensive Disney Pop! catalog.
