Where it came from
The Snowtrooper Concept Series figure is part of a specialized line within the Funko Pop! Star Wars collection dedicated to the original sketches and early designs created by conceptual artist Ralph McQuarrie. These illustrations served as the visual blueprint for the aesthetics of the original Star Wars trilogy, featuring distinct silhouettes and gear configurations that were eventually refined or altered for the final film production.
Designed to celebrate the artistic origins of the franchise, this figure captures the Snowtrooper’s prototype look as envisioned by McQuarrie. Collectors and fans often seek out these concept figures for their historical nod to the pre-production phase of Star Wars, appreciating them as a tribute to the foundational creative work that established the iconic aesthetic of the Empire’s specialized ground forces.
