Spider-Man (The Amazing Spider-Man) (Glow in the Dark)

Released in 2012 as part of the initial wave of the Funko Pop! Marvel line, this figure was produced to coincide with the theatrical release of the film The Amazing Spider-Man. The design follows Funko’s signature stylized aesthetic, featuring the oversized head and minimalist details that define the series, with the distinct addition of glow-in-the-dark paint applied to the web patterns on the suit and the spider emblem.

As one of the early entries in the now-expansive Pop! Marvel collection, this figure was designed to appeal to both casual filmgoers and dedicated comic book enthusiasts. It captured a transition period for the brand as it began to cement its foothold in the pop culture merchandise market. While the glow-in-the-dark variant was intended to be a standout feature for collectors, the figure is now recognized primarily as a foundational piece of the early Marvel Pop! catalog.
