Where it came from
Sprout, the iconic green giant mascot for Jolly Green Giant vegetables, was immortalized in Funko's Pop! Ad Icons series as number 43. Created as a marketing figure to represent the wholesome quality of canned vegetables, the character has evolved from his 1928 debut into a nostalgic figure of American commercial history. Funko introduced this specific vinyl interpretation to appeal to collectors of vintage advertising ephemera and fans of classic mascot branding.
The design of this Pop! figure maintains the character's signature vibrant green complexion and leafy attire, adhering to the standard Funko aesthetic of a large head and stylized features. It was released as part of a series intended to celebrate historic corporate mascots. The figure was well-received by collectors who prioritize the Ad Icons line, finding favor among those who value mid-century advertising culture and the tactile nature of vinyl character collectibles.
