Supergirl (Bombshells) (Sepia)

The DC Bombshells line of collectibles draws its inspiration from the popular digital-first comic series created by Marguerite Bennett and illustrated by Ant Lucia. Launched in 2013, the series reimagined iconic DC heroines as pin-up style characters set during the 1940s, blending classic vintage aesthetics with the superhero genre. This specific interpretation became a cornerstone of the Funko Pop! Heroes series, representing a stylized departure from the traditional modern costumes typically associated with the character of Supergirl.

This particular sepia-toned variant of the Supergirl Pop! figure was released as part of a series of limited-edition color-variant exclusives. Designed to evoke the feel of aged, vintage photography, the monochrome palette pays homage to the era that inspired the Bombshells concept. The figure retains the signature stylized features of the Pop! line, such as the oversized head and simplified proportions, while the sepia finish serves to highlight the classic wartime-era uniform design that fans of Ant Lucia's original artwork recognize as a hallmark of this sub-series.
