Super Greed [Chase]

Super Greed originates from the 2022 Funko Pop! Games release based on the indie video game phenomenon The Binding of Isaac. As a franchise, the series explores dark, surreal themes through a distinctive, minimalist art style, and this figure was specifically crafted to represent the greed-themed boss character. It was designed to capture the character's signature golden aesthetic and coin-obsessed iconography, serving as a direct translation of the pixelated sprites into Funko's signature stylized form.

The figure exists as a 'Chase' variant within the broader wave, a common practice in Funko collecting where a rare iteration of a standard character is randomly inserted into production runs. These variants are sought after for their scarcity and slight modifications in detail, often released simultaneously with the common counterpart to drive engagement among completionists. The design choice to emphasize the metallic sheen and the character's stoic, wide-eyed expression reflects a commitment to the game's idiosyncratic visual language, which has resonated deeply with its dedicated cult following.
