Supergirl (Flying) [NYCC]

The Supergirl (Flying) Pop! figure, numbered 708 in the Television line, was released by Funko as an exclusive for New York Comic Con in 2018. It was designed to celebrate the title character from the CW television series, depicting Kara Zor-El mid-flight in her iconic suit. The figure reflects the broader trend of Funko capturing specific action poses for its licensed television properties, aiming to appeal to both fans of the show and collectors of the DC Universe.

The design process for these television-based Pops generally focuses on distillation, stripping the character down to key aesthetic identifiers like the House of El crest and the flowing cape. Like many convention exclusives, this item was produced in limited quantities specifically for the event to generate interest among attendees. It was well-received by the collecting community for its dynamic pose, which set it apart from the more static, standing figures often found in the core retail waves of the series.
