Superman From Flashpoint (Laser Eyes)

This Funko Pop figure depicts Superman as he appears in the Flashpoint comic book event, a pivotal 2011 DC Comics storyline that reshaped the multiverse. In this alternate reality, Kal-El did not land in Smallville to be raised by the Kents, but instead crashed in Metropolis and was immediately captured by the government, spending his life in a subterranean facility. The figure captures his gaunt, weakened appearance resulting from years of isolation.

The design of this figure leans into the darker, more unsettling tone of the Flashpoint universe. By opting for the 'laser eyes' variant, the designers emphasized the character's erratic power usage and the lack of moral guidance that defines this version of the hero. It was released as part of the broader Pop! Heroes line to provide collectors with a darker counterpart to the traditional, idealistic Superman, and was generally received as a distinct and lore-accurate representation of the character's somber evolution within the narrative.
