Where it came from
The Boss, also known as The Joy, is a central character in the Metal Gear Solid franchise, appearing as the legendary mentor to Naked Snake in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Funko released this figure in the Pop! Games line to commemorate her iconic role as the mother of the special forces and the tragic antagonist whose sacrifice shapes the entire series' geopolitical narrative.
The figure features her signature white tactical sneaking suit, capturing her stoic expression and military aesthetic. As part of a line dedicated to high-profile video game characters, the design emphasizes the stylized, oversized-head aesthetic characteristic of the Funko brand while maintaining the recognizable details of her uniform and combat-ready posture.
