Where it came from
Released as part of the Funko Pop! Star Wars line, this figure captures a defining moment from the first season of The Mandalorian. It depicts 'The Child', colloquially known as Baby Yoda, holding the spherical silver control knob from the Razor Crest's flight controls. The design choice highlights the character's curiosity and the playful, non-verbal connection between the bounty hunter and his ward, which became a central element of the show's early popularity.
The figure was produced during the height of the series' global cultural impact, reflecting the immediate demand for merchandise following the character's debut on Disney+. Like other figures in the Pop! aesthetic, it utilizes the signature oversized head and simplified, stylized features. It was received as a quintessential piece for franchise collectors and remains one of the most recognizable items within the wider Star Wars Funko collection.
