Where it came from
The Child, commonly known as Grogu, was introduced in the 2019 Disney+ series The Mandalorian as a central plot device that quickly became a global cultural phenomenon. Funko released this particular Pop! figure, numbered 385, to commemorate the character's signature moment using the Force, capturing his distinct wide-eyed expression and raised hand aesthetic that mirrored his on-screen display of power.
Designed by the internal Funko creative team, this sculpt follows the standardized Pop! vinyl aesthetic, which emphasizes oversized heads, large black eyes, and simplified proportions. The item was released during the height of the show's popularity and was widely received by collectors as a quintessential representation of the character, securing its place as one of the most recognizable figures in the Star Wars sub-series.
