Where it came from
The Count von Count Funko Pop, numbered 7 in the Sesame Street series, was released as part of Funko's effort to translate beloved cultural icons into their signature vinyl aesthetic. The figure reflects the character's traditional appearance, capturing his monocle, cape, and formal Victorian-inspired attire, which has been a staple of the show since his debut in the early 1970s.
Designed within the standard Pop! silhouette, the figure prioritizes the character's most recognizable features to evoke nostalgia for the educational program. As with much of the Sesame Street line, the figure was well received by collectors of both pop culture memorabilia and educational toys, serving as a playful tribute to a character known for teaching children the joy of arithmetic.
