Trap Jaw

Trap Jaw was released as part of the Funko Pop! Retro Toys line, specifically capturing the menacing aesthetic of the iconic Masters of the Universe villain. The character, originally known as Cronos, was introduced in the 1980s Mattel toy line as a cyborg henchman for Skeletor, defined by his mechanical jaw and interchangeable arm attachments. Funko designed this figure to echo the vintage action figure's distinct color palette and industrial features, translating his oversized, intimidating presence into the signature stylized Pop! vinyl form factor.

The figure features the character’s classic gray skin tone and neon-colored armor, adhering to the nostalgic design language established by the original Filmation cartoon and Mattel’s classic toy sculpts. Collectors have largely received the figure as a faithful, simplified homage to the 1980s aesthetic, often highlighting it for its recognizable silhouette and the inclusion of his signature robotic arm. It stands as a popular entry in the broader Masters of the Universe collection, appealing to fans of the long-standing fantasy franchise who seek to bridge the gap between retro toys and modern pop-culture collectibles.
