Vecna [GITD]

The Vecna Pop! vinyl figure, numbered 1464 in the Pop! Television line, was produced by Funko to commemorate the antagonist of the fourth season of the Netflix series Stranger Things. Released in conjunction with the show's massive cultural resurgence in 2022, the design captures the character's intricate, organic, and grotesque aesthetic, characterized by his vine-like flesh and haunting silhouette. As a Glow-in-the-Dark (GITD) variant, the figure is specifically engineered to highlight the character's eerie presence when exposed to light, appealing to collectors who favor atmospheric variations of standard television-tie-in merchandise.

Funko’s design team leaned heavily into the practical effects work of the series, ensuring the sculpt mirrored the prosthetics created for actor Jamie Campbell Bower. The figure sits within a broader initiative by Funko to expand their Stranger Things catalog, which has become one of the company's most expansive licensing portfolios. Since its debut, the piece has been received by the collecting community as a definitive representation of the show's dark turn in its later seasons, often cited for its successful translation of a highly textured, complex character into the simplified, stylized medium of the Pop! form.
