Yi

Yi is a character introduced in the 2020 comic book miniseries Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin, published by IDW Publishing. The series was based on original concepts by TMNT co-creators Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, depicting a dark, dystopian future where a single surviving turtle seeks vengeance. This Funko Pop! figure was released as part of the Pop! Comics line, designed to translate the gritty, stylized aesthetics of the comic's interior art into the recognizable vinyl silhouette synonymous with the brand.

The figure captures the character's distinct combat-ready appearance from the series. Funko's design team focused on maintaining the lean, tactical look of the character as illustrated by artists like Ben Bates and Esau Escorza. Upon its release, the figure was well-received by fans of the franchise, who sought to commemorate this new era of Turtle lore that departed significantly from the traditional lighthearted tone of the original series.
