Yuji Itadori with Slaughter Demon

Released as part of the initial wave of Funko Pop! Animation figures dedicated to the Jujutsu Kaisen franchise, this piece depicts the series protagonist, Yuji Itadori, wielding the Cursed Tool known as the Slaughter Demon. The figure was produced to coincide with the global surge in popularity following the anime adaptation of Gege Akutami’s manga, capturing Yuji in a quintessential combat stance that reflects the show's dark, action-oriented aesthetic.

The design follows Funko’s signature stylized aesthetic, scaling down Yuji’s athletic frame and signature school uniform into the classic Pop! silhouette. By highlighting the Slaughter Demon—the blade originally belonging to Maki Zenin—the figure leans into the series' emphasis on tactical combat and the lore of Cursed Energy. It was received by fans and collectors as a foundational item for any Jujutsu Kaisen display, serving as an accessible entry point into a rapidly expanding line of merchandise.
