BrickJournal Issue 90

BrickJournal, the long-running publication dedicated to the LEGO hobby, has served as a central archive for adult fan culture since its inception in 2005. Issue 90 continues the magazine’s tradition of highlighting complex MOCs (My Own Creations), providing behind-the-scenes insights into professional building techniques, and featuring interviews with designers both from within the community and from the LEGO Group itself. The magazine is edited by Joe Meno, who has maintained its role as a bridge between casual hobbyists and advanced builders.

The design philosophy behind BrickJournal focuses on a clean, technical presentation that prioritizes clear photography of build sequences and detailed text explanations. Each issue aims to demystify complex engineering feats, such as motorized mechanisms or sophisticated structural geometry. Over the years, the publication has been recognized for professionalizing fan-based media, offering a sustained look at how individuals elevate plastic bricks into works of art, which has helped cement its status as a staple for serious collectors.
