Dragon Stone Shrine

The Dragon Stone Shrine (set 71819-1) was released in 2024 as part of the LEGO Ninjago Dragons Rising theme. It was designed to serve as a central, display-oriented centerpiece for the rebooted series, capturing the mythical aesthetic of the Dragon Stone through intricate architecture, cascading water elements, and a collection of significant character minifigures. The design emphasizes a blend of traditional East Asian architectural influences with the high-fantasy kinetic energy that has defined the Ninjago line since its inception in 2011.

The set was developed by the LEGO design team to provide a more mature, display-focused experience for long-time fans of the Ninjago franchise. It moves away from the purely play-centric vehicles common to the series, focusing instead on environmental storytelling through its detailed landscaping and interior chambers. Upon release, it was well-received by the collector community for its sophisticated build techniques and its departure from the typical action-heavy sets, establishing itself as a pinnacle model within the Dragons Rising era.
