Where it came from
Kramm was released in 2015 as part of the LEGO Mixels Series 4 collection. These characters were the result of a creative collaboration between The LEGO Group and Cartoon Network, designed to bring a new, collectible format to the building toy market. The concept focused on small, modular creatures that could be combined with others in their tribe to create larger, more complex builds, tapping into the imaginative potential of the core brick system while maintaining a distinct visual identity.
The design of Kramm, a leader figure for the Frosticons tribe, features a stark, angular aesthetic reflective of an icy, mountainous theme. Created by the LEGO design team to serve as a playful, character-driven entry point for younger builders, the set emphasizes personality through articulated joints and specific color palettes. Upon its release, the series was well-regarded for its accessibility and the inventive ways it encouraged users to experiment with structural connectivity.
