LEGO Minifigures - Disney 100 Series - Complete

Released in May 2023 to coincide with the centennial anniversary of The Walt Disney Company, the LEGO Disney 100 series (71038) serves as a celebratory homage to a century of animation. The collection features eighteen distinct minifigures, spanning iconic characters from the golden age of animation through modern classics, including figures like Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Tiana, and Ernesto de la Cruz. This set was designed to capture the specific aesthetic sensibilities of diverse Disney properties while maintaining the standardized, modular charm characteristic of the LEGO minifigure format.

The series was produced under the Collectible Minifigures line, a format that utilizes blind packaging to encourage community interaction and trading. The design team focused on intricate printing and specialized molded accessories to ensure each character remained instantly recognizable, balancing the technical constraints of the LEGO brick with the elaborate details inherent in Disney’s character designs. Upon its release, the series was well received by adult collectors and families alike, recognized for its comprehensive representation of Disney’s expansive history and the high quality of its character-specific molds.
