LEGO Minifigures - Series 22 {Random bag}

Released in early 2022, the LEGO Minifigures Series 22 (71032) continued the company's long-standing tradition of offering blind-bagged, collectible character sets. This series was designed to provide a diverse array of unique figures, ranging from historical and fantasy archetypes like the Troubadour and the Forest Elf to creative, niche designs such as the Raccoon Costume Fan and the Space Creature. The collection was developed by the internal LEGO design team, maintaining the high standard of printing and accessory variety that collectors have come to expect since the line began in 2010.

The reception for Series 22 was largely positive, with collectors praising the inclusion of distinct, highly detailed parts that could be integrated into broader LEGO city or fantasy dioramas. The set stands out for its balanced blend of whimsical characters and functional components, such as the wheelchair for the Wheelchair Racer, which was noted for its commitment to inclusive representation within the product range. Like its predecessors, it became a staple of hobbyist collecting, relying on the excitement of the 'blind bag' format to drive interest among both casual builders and serious enthusiasts.
