Where it came from
Released in 2016 as part of the Lego Friends theme, Livi's Pop Star House (set 41135-1) was designed to expand the narrative of the pop star character, Livi, introduced by the brand to represent modern celebrity lifestyle within the Heartlake City world. The set reflects the design philosophy of the Friends line, which emphasizes detailed interior play spaces and a vibrant, modular aesthetic meant to appeal to children interested in building, decorating, and role-playing domestic and creative scenes.
The model is notable for its glass-walled, modern architectural style, incorporating features like a swimming pool, a recording studio, and a rooftop terrace. Its development followed the wider commercial success of the Friends sub-themes that featured career-focused roles. Upon release, it was well-received by fans of the series for its specific focus on the intersection of professional music creation and luxury living, marking a pivot toward more contemporary, aspirational building sets within the broader Lego catalogue.
