Summer Wave

The Summer Wave collection, designated SUMMERWAVE-1, emerged as a niche artistic project intended to capture the ephemeral essence of mid-century coastal leisure. Produced during a period of renewed interest in retro-minimalist aesthetics, the set was conceived to function as both a functional tabletop series and a study in fluid geometry. The design language emphasizes soft color gradients and rounded edges, deliberately moving away from the industrial sharpness that characterized much of the design output in its sector during that era.

The creative direction was spearheaded by an independent design studio aiming to evoke the sensory experience of a seaside afternoon through tactile, high-quality materials. Upon its limited release, the set was noted by design journals for its unconventional material composition and its departure from typical mass-market themes. Critics praised the cohesive visual narrative of the collection, identifying it as a thoughtful exercise in color theory that prioritized mood and atmosphere over decorative complexity.
