The Harry Potter LEGO Minifigure Catalog: 1st Edition

The Harry Potter LEGO Minifigure Catalog, first edition, was published in 2012 to serve as a comprehensive visual reference for the growing library of minifigures released alongside the Harry Potter theme. At the time of its release, the LEGO Harry Potter line had experienced several years of popularity following its 2001 debut, and fans had expressed a growing need for a consolidated guide to track the subtle variations in print designs, accessories, and hair pieces that distinguish characters across different production years.

The volume was curated to assist adult collectors and enthusiasts in cataloging their holdings, focusing on the specific evolution of character designs from the original 2001 sets through the subsequent releases. By organizing these figures chronologically and by set, the catalog provided a systematic approach to archiving the line. It remains a notable example of enthusiast-led documentation within the LEGO community, reflecting the dedication of fans who sought to standardize the history of these miniature icons.
