Where it came from
Never Land, card number 32 from the Into the Inklands set of the Disney Lorcana trading card game, was released in early 2024 as part of the game's third expansion. This set introduced the location card type to the game mechanics, allowing players to exert characters to move to specific Disney-themed settings, which then provide passive bonuses or lore generation. As a common rarity card, it was designed to be accessible to players while introducing them to the strategic depth of the new location system.
The card features an illustration capturing the iconic geography of the Never Land landscape. Like all cards in the Lorcana series, the visual style prioritizes a faithful, evocative rendering of Disney characters and environments to appeal to both competitive players and collectors of Disney memorabilia. The design serves a dual purpose: it functions as a functional game piece for the 'Inklands' meta-game and acts as a collectible representation of the beloved location from J.M. Barrie's source material and the classic 1953 Disney animated film.
