Where it came from
The Remember Me action card is a central piece from the Hyperia City expansion, released to provide players with a narrative-driven mechanic that mirrors the urban decay and memory-fading themes inherent in the game's world-building. Developed by the core design team during the second year of the Hyperia cycle, the card was conceptualized to offer a high-risk, high-reward tactical advantage, forcing players to sacrifice long-term resources for a momentary advantage in board state control.
Visually, the card features the distinct, ethereal aesthetic that defines the enchanted rarity tier, characterized by foil-etched accents and a minimalist color palette designed to evoke a sense of melancholy. While initial community reception focused heavily on its complex rules text, the illustration—credited to the studio's internal art department—was widely praised for its evocative portrayal of vanishing cityscapes, cementing its status as both a functional utility and a sought-after aesthetic centerpiece among serious collectors.
