Angel's Feather

Angel's Feather was originally introduced in the Ninth Edition core set of Magic: The Gathering, released in 2005. As a recurring artifact in the early core sets, it belongs to a cycle of 'Feather' cards designed to provide life gain triggered by playing spells of a specific color, in this case, white. These artifacts were created to serve as accessible, foundational tools for deck building, aimed at helping newer players stabilize their life totals during the mid-game.

The card features artwork by Alan Pollack, a prolific fantasy illustrator known for his contributions to the game during the mid-2000s. Pollack’s design for the Feather emphasizes a serene, ethereal aesthetic intended to evoke the protective, healing nature of white magic.
