Where it came from
The Arcane Signet originated as a staple card in Magic: The Gathering, specifically designed to accelerate mana production in the Commander format. This particular iteration was released as part of a Secret Lair drop, a series of curated, limited-release sets often featuring unique, stylized art that departs from the traditional aesthetic of the main card game.
The visual design for this specific card features custom artwork meant to emphasize the mystical and artifact-heavy nature of the game's lore. Secret Lair releases are generally received as high-end collector items, valued by players for their artistic divergence and their role as premium showpieces within a deck, rather than serving as foundational game pieces.
