Anger

Anger was released as part of the Secret Lair Drop Series, a specialized line of Magic: The Gathering cards featuring unique, artist-driven aesthetics. This particular iteration of the card was included in the 'Secret Lair x Street Fighter' collection, which integrated the iconic characters and visual language of the legendary fighting game franchise into the mechanics of the trading card game. The drop was created to celebrate the intersection of gaming subcultures, pairing the red-mana-aligned card Anger with the character M. Bison to reflect the character's aggressive, fiery, and iconic persona.

The artwork for this version was produced by illustrator Borja Pindado, who was tasked with reimagining the card through the lens of the Street Fighter aesthetic. Pindado employed a dynamic, stylized approach that emphasizes the intensity of the character while maintaining the mechanical clarity required for gameplay. Upon its release, the card was well-received by players and collectors for its high-quality illustrative style and the novelty of the collaboration, further cementing the Secret Lair brand as a platform for experimental and crossover design in the hobby.
