Flying, first strike, vigilance, lifelink
Your opponents can't cast spells with mana value 3 or less.
Flesh tears then knits anew. Bones crack, splinter, and fuse together. Two sundered bodies become one writhing mass. The one becomes Emrakul.

Where it came from
Brisela, Voice of Nightmares originated from the Eldritch Moon expansion for Magic: The Gathering, released in 2016. This card represents the fused form of two legendary angels, Bruna and Gisela, who were corrupted by the eldritch entity Emrakul. The design was intended to evoke body horror and a sense of cosmic dread, central themes of the block's narrative which saw the plane of Innistrad fall under the influence of madness.
This specific iteration, numbered 1336b, was featured as part of a Secret Lair drop. The artwork for this version leans into the surreal and grotesque aesthetic typical of the Secret Lair series, which often collaborates with artists to provide stylized interpretations of iconic cards. By the time of its release in the special drop, the fused card mechanic had already been established as a fan favorite for its mechanical complexity and dramatic visual storytelling.
