Coral Merfolk

Coral Merfolk was first introduced to the Magic: The Gathering card game in the Alpha set of 1993, representing the quintessential blue-aligned creature type. By the time of the Seventh Edition, released in 2001, the card had become a core element of the game’s basic identity. This specific printing was designed to serve as a functional staple for newer players, embodying the straightforward, aggressive water-dwelling nature that Wizards of the Coast intended for the Merfolk tribe during the late nineties and early two-thousands.
