Where it came from
Count on Luck was released as part of the Aetherdrift Promos set, a collection of supplemental cards designed to support the expansion's release. These promotional cards were typically distributed through local game store events or organized play initiatives, serving as a reward for participants to encourage community engagement and attendance during the launch phase of the set.
The card features artwork consistent with the high-fantasy aesthetic of the Aetherdrift universe, emphasizing the whimsical and high-variance nature of the card's mechanics. Illustrators working on these sets often lean into vibrant color palettes and dynamic character poses to ensure the cards stand out visually during gameplay, a design choice that was well-received by the player base for its consistency with the established lore.
