Deserted Beach // Deserted Beach

The Deserted Beach card from the Innistrad: Midnight Hunt Art Series was released by Wizards of the Coast in 2021. This specific card represents a departure from standard gameplay items, serving as a dedicated collectible display piece that showcases the full-art illustration of the card originally featured in the main expansion set. The Art Series cards were designed to highlight the atmospheric, gothic horror aesthetic central to the Innistrad plane, providing players and collectors with an unencumbered view of the landscape artwork used for the game's land cards.

The illustration for Deserted Beach was created by artist Titus Lunter. Lunter’s work on this piece captures a desolate, windswept coastline characteristic of Innistrad's eerie topography, utilizing a muted color palette to evoke a sense of isolation and decay. Upon its release, these cards were well-received by collectors who prioritize the game's world-building and visual narrative, functioning primarily as high-quality artistic mementos rather than functional components for deck construction.
