Elemental Shaman

The Elemental Shaman token, assigned collector number 8 in the Commander Anthology Volume II set, was produced by Wizards of the Coast as a utility component for players of the Magic: The Gathering card game. Released in 2018, this collection was designed to provide players with a curated selection of popular Commander decks and their associated accessories, including tokens required to represent game states created by specific spells or abilities.

This token features artwork consistent with the aesthetic direction of the 2018 Commander release, intended to visually distinguish ephemeral game elements from the primary deck cards. While individual token illustrations are often collaborative efforts within the Wizards of the Coast art department, these tokens were designed to be functional, recognizable, and durable additions to the player's toolkit, serving as a standard for high-quality game components during this specific period of the game's expansion.
