Goat

The Goat token, specifically numbered 3 in the Commander Anthology Volume II set released by Wizards of the Coast in 2018, serves as a functional companion piece for various Magic: The Gathering cards that generate creature tokens. These tokens were specifically curated for this anthology set to support the included preconstructed decks, providing players with physical representations of creatures created by spells like Trading Post or various thematic cards found in the featured Commander decks.

The visual design of these tokens follows the established aesthetic of the era, emphasizing high-fidelity digital illustration consistent with the modern Magic: The Gathering style guide. As with most token cards in supplemental sets, the illustration aims to clarify the creature type, power, and toughness at a glance, ensuring functional utility during gameplay. While these tokens are rarely credited to individual illustrators in the same manner as mainline set cards, they reflect the collaborative artistic direction maintained by Wizards of the Coast to ensure visual cohesion across their Commander-focused releases.
