What it does
Hideaway 5 (When this enchantment enters, look at the top five cards of your library, exile one face down, then put the rest on the bottom in a random order.)
At the beginning of combat on your turn, put a +1/+1 counter on target creature you control. Then if you control a creature with power 7 or greater, you may play the exiled card without paying its mana cost.

Where it came from
Fight Rigging was released as part of the Streets of New Capenna expansion for Magic: The Gathering in 2022. The set drew thematic inspiration from 1920s film noir and Art Deco aesthetics, centering on the city of New Capenna, a metropolis built by angels and run by five powerful crime syndicates. This specific card represents the flavor of the Riveteers, a faction of industrial laborers and artisans who value brute strength and the philosophy that the ends justify the means.
The card was illustrated by Wisnu Tan, who utilized the set's signature geometric motifs and bold, angular lines to depict the physical labor and underlying tension of the setting. Upon its release, the card received significant attention from players for its efficiency in competitive formats, particularly for its ability to provide board presence and card advantage. The promotional version, marked by its unique collector number and foil treatment, is a standard variation sought by collectors of the set’s distinct visual style.
