Filthy Cur

Filthy Cur was released in 2001 as part of the Odyssey expansion for the Magic: The Gathering trading card game. Developed by Wizards of the Coast, the set marked a departure from the previous Urza block, focusing on a more visceral, graveyard-centric theme set on the plane of Otaria. The card was designed to function within this mechanics-heavy environment, specifically utilizing the threshold mechanic, which granted creatures increased power once a player had seven or more cards in their graveyard.
