What it does
Creatures you control get +2/+2 and gain vigilance and lifelink until end of turn.
They all took up the cry, the missionaries, the pilgrims, the sisters of the Orders Militant. The forces of Chaos melted before the fire of their faith.

Where it came from
For the Emperor! was released in 2022 as part of the Warhammer 40,000 Commander set for Magic: The Gathering. This set marked a significant crossover between Wizards of the Coast and Games Workshop, designed to translate the grim, sprawling aesthetic of the 41st millennium into the mechanics of a multiplayer card game. The card represents a strategic enchantment that utilizes the 'Squad' keyword, intended to mirror the massive, relentless mobilization of the Imperium of Man’s Astra Militarum forces.
The artwork, produced by illustrator Livia Prima, captures the thematic intensity of a mass infantry charge under the banners of the Imperium. Prima worked to maintain the distinctive, industrial-gothic visual language characteristic of the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Upon release, the card was well-received by players for its flavor-accurate portrayal of Imperial logistics and its utility in token-based deck strategies within the Commander format.
