Where it came from
Harness Infinity was released as part of the Strixhaven: School of Mages set in 2021, specifically appearing as a promotional card for the Izzet-aligned Prismari college. The card reflects the set's central theme of magical academia at Strixhaven University, focusing on the expressive and explosive nature of Prismari magic, which blends artistry with raw elemental power.
The illustration was crafted by artist Bastien L. Deharme, whose work frequently features in the Magic: The Gathering catalog. Deharme aimed to visually represent the chaotic, shimmering intensity of the spell, utilizing a dynamic color palette to mirror the impulsive and creative spirit of the Prismari students who favor this particular incantation.
