What it does
Draw a card for each creature you control with a +1/+1 counter on it. Those creatures gain indestructible until end of turn. (Damage and effects that say "destroy" don't destroy them.)
Loyal members of the Enlightened return to Point Pleasant during the seasonal equinox to honor the Wise Mothman, despite interference from the blasphemous "Dim Ones."

Where it came from
Inspiring Call is a card featured in the Magic: The Gathering 'Fallout' set, released in 2024 as part of the Universes Beyond series. The card was designed to mechanically reflect the themes of community building and support found within the Fallout role-playing game franchise, specifically referencing the 'Brotherhood of Steel' or 'Settler' narrative arcs where players bolster their allies. The artwork depicts a scene of mobilization and unity, consistent with the visual language of the Wasteland, intended to ground the game's mechanics in the lore of the post-apocalyptic setting.
The card was illustrated by Wisnu Tan, who collaborated with the design team at Wizards of the Coast to translate Fallout's specific aesthetic into the standardized format of Magic: The Gathering. The design aimed to balance the tactical gameplay needs of a 'go-wide' creature strategy with the thematic flavor of the franchise. Upon release, the card was generally well-received by players of the Commander format, who noted its utility in green-based decks, solidifying its place as a functional piece of memorabilia for both card gamers and Fallout enthusiasts.
