Jace, Unraveler of Secrets Emblem

The Jace, Unraveler of Secrets emblem was produced by Wizards of the Coast for the 2016 Shadows over Innistrad expansion for Magic: The Gathering. It represents the ultimate ability of the Jace, Unraveler of Secrets planeswalker card, serving as a physical marker to track the persistent, game-altering effect created when the player activates the card's final loyalty ability. In the high-fantasy gothic horror setting of Innistrad, the emblem signifies the character's profound manipulation of the flow of cards, allowing a player to draw a card whenever an opponent casts their first spell each turn.

The design of the emblem follows the standardized aesthetic for Magic: The Gathering tokens and markers introduced during the modern era of the game. Featuring the illustrative work of Magali Villeneuve, the art emphasizes the intellectual and mystical prowess associated with the character Jace Beleren. As a functional accessory rather than a collectible card for deck construction, the piece was received primarily as a utility item, praised for its clarity in game states while maintaining the atmospheric, dark-fantasy visual identity consistent with the broader Shadows over Innistrad block.
