Kor Sanctifiers

Kor Sanctifiers was included in the 2014 Commander product, a pre-constructed deck series released by Wizards of the Coast to support the popular multiplayer Commander format. Originally debuted in the Worldwake expansion, the card was reprinted here to provide players with a versatile utility creature capable of destroying artifacts or enchantments upon entering the battlefield. This version maintains the card's role as a staple for white-based decks requiring consistent board interaction.

The artwork for this version was provided by Dan Murayama Scott, who rendered the Kor figure with a focus on Zendikar’s distinctive aesthetic of floating stone ruins and desert landscapes. Scott’s illustration emphasizes the light-infused, ritualistic nature of the Kor race, using sharp contrasts to highlight the character's weapon. The design was well-received by the player base for effectively capturing the high-fantasy spirit of the plane while clearly communicating the card's function as a defensive and disruptive tool.
