Kor Sanctifiers

Kor Sanctifiers was first released in the 2014 Commander product line, a series of preconstructed decks designed specifically for the popular multiplayer format of Magic: The Gathering. As a white creature card, its function is rooted in the game's long-standing design philosophy of granting white decks efficient tools to interact with artifacts and enchantments upon entering the battlefield. This specific iteration serves as a reprint, utilizing the familiar utility of previous incarnations to provide stability for players navigating the complexities of multi-player games.

The card features illustration by Igor Kieryluk, whose work often emphasizes the ethereal and structured aesthetics inherent to the Kor race in Magic's lore. The visual design reflects the Kor's nomadic nature and their traditional role as ascetic monks, capturing a moment of meditative focus paired with decisive action. Upon its release, the card was received as a reliable, functional staple that helped define the power level of the preconstructed environment, appreciated by players for its straightforward yet impactful contribution to board state management.
