Krosan Reclamation

Krosan Reclamation was originally printed in the Judgment expansion in 2002, but this specific version originates from the 2003 World Championship Decks. These decks were produced by Wizards of the Coast as educational and commemorative products, allowing players to purchase exact replicas of the 75-card tournament decks used by the top players at the 2003 Magic: The Gathering World Championship. The card features a distinct gold-bordered back and the player's signature on the front, distinguishing it from standard tournament-legal printings.

The card was illustrated by Darrell Riche, whose work during this era often leaned into the lush, organic aesthetic of the Krosan Forest. The design aims to capture the green-aligned philosophy of nature's cyclical power, allowing players to return cards from their graveyard to their library. While the original Judgment release was intended for standard deck building, the World Championship printing serves primarily as a historical artifact, preserving the specific metagame configurations and utility choices made by elite competitors during the early 2000s.
