Provenance

Where it came from

Mishra's Factory first appeared in the 1994 Antiquities expansion, designed as an homage to the lore of the Brothers' War. The card allows land to transform into a creature, reflecting the industrial might of Mishra, the antagonist-protagonist whose mechanical creations defined the setting. The card's design, which emphasizes versatility and utility, quickly made it a staple in competitive formats.

The Double Masters printing, released in 2020, features updated aesthetics while maintaining the functional integrity of the original card. This version was created to provide players with a premium iteration of a classic utility land. It was received as a respectful modern treatment of a long-standing card, catering to players who appreciate the balance between historical significance and current visual standards.
