The card functions as both a source of green mana and a tool for card advantage, allowing a player to look at the top four cards of their library and exile one face-down to be played later for free when the condition is met. This specific printing originates from the Commander 2013 product, a series of preconstructed decks released by Wizards of the Coast to support the popular multiplayer Commander format.

The artwork for this iteration was created by Jeremy Jarvis, who served as a long-time art director for Magic: The Gathering.
