Raging Goblin

Raging Goblin was released in 1997 as part of the Portal set, an introductory product designed by Wizards of the Coast to lower the barrier to entry for new Magic: The Gathering players. The set utilized simplified card mechanics and clearer iconography to teach the game's core concepts. The card features artwork by Pete Venters, a prolific illustrator who has contributed hundreds of pieces to the Magic: The Gathering universe.
