Reflecting Pool

Reflecting Pool was originally released in the 2008 expansion Conspiracy, designed as a reprint of the original Tempest rare. The set was crafted to support multiplayer drafting environments, placing a thematic focus on political maneuvering and social gameplay. Its inclusion provided players with a powerful, versatile land capable of producing any color of mana, provided the player already had access to other colors, making it a cornerstone for multicolor deck strategies.

The artwork for this version was illustrated by the artist Noah Bradley. Known for his expansive landscapes and ethereal light, Bradley sought to capture a sense of calm and infinite potential within the frame. The design was received positively by the community, as the updated aesthetic provided a modern, serene take on the classic utility land, cementing its status as both a functional staple and a visually prized component of the set.
