Strike It Rich // Strike It Rich

Strike It Rich was originally released as a common sorcery in the Modern Horizons 2 expansion, which debuted in 2021. This set was designed as a direct-to-modern product, featuring a mix of new cards and nostalgic reprints intended to shift the power levels within the Modern format. The art series cards were introduced as a collectible subset included in set boosters, featuring full-art illustrations without the standard card frame or text boxes.

The artwork for this specific card was illustrated by Johannes Voss, a long-standing contributor to the game known for his expressive and emotive style. Voss was tasked with capturing the thematic essence of sudden discovery and avarice. The illustration was received positively by the community for its vibrant color palette and its ability to condense the concept of a high-stakes treasure hunt into a single, compact visual narrative.
