Where it came from
Strike It Rich was originally released as a common sorcery in the Modern Horizons 2 set in 2021, designed to provide players with a flexible mana-fixing tool that could also generate Treasure tokens. The card quickly became a staple in various formats, particularly those where efficient early-game plays are prioritized, owing to its ability to cycle itself while contributing to a player's long-term mana strategy.
The Art Series version, collector number 36s, features an expanded, borderless illustration by artist Wisnu Tan. This series was created as a premium showcase for the game's visuals, decoupling the intricate, vibrant artwork from the standard functional frame to allow the player to appreciate the aesthetic detail and composition that defines the high-fantasy style of the Modern Horizons 2 collection.
